Dear Members,
The Committee hope that all members had
a good Christmas and wish all members a
Happy and prosperous New Year.
As some of you may have heard Alison
Walker has decided to resign as a member
of the Committee, and as Secretary of
the Association. In order to maintain
continuity the Committee have asked
David Allen to act as Secretary to
complete Alison’s term of office. David
is already a member of the Committee and
was Secretary of the Association for 10
years and so has experience of the
role. He can be contacted at;

The first task of 2012 is to hold the
Annual General Meeting and this will be
as follows:
Venue -Ossett
Town Football Club
Date - Friday 2 March 2012 at 7.30pm
The business of the AGM is to receive
the report of the Committee and the
statement of accounts for the preceding
year, to elect the Honorary Auditor for
the ensuing year and to transact any
other business of which due and proper
notice has been given.
Only members making a subscription in
accordance with the rules and whose
subscriptions are not in arrears shall
be eligible to vote and nominate any
person to the Committee.
Any individual member desirous of
moving a resolution at the AGM shall
give notice thereof in writing to the
Secretary before
10th February 2012.
Last year, after business had been
conducted, there was a small auction and
this was a great success raising
valuable funds, not to mention the fun
and games that caused much laughter
afterwards!!
Following this years AGM there will
again be a small Auction of quality
selected items and some more fun and
games! All are welcome – the more the
merrier!
Membership fees for 2012 can be paid at
the AGM.
This year the Shows will all be at Mill
Lane Stables, Brayton , Selby and will
be held on;
25th March 2012 – Youngstock
and Ridden Show (Bronze Medal Rosette,
Equifest & Welsh
National Champs qualifiers)
4th June 2012 –
Spring Bronze Medal Show
8th July 2012 – Summer
Bronze Medal Show (results count for the
Sire Ratings Scheme)
